Thank you for viewing our video! I hope that you have as much fun viewing it as the kids and I did in making it. The sixth grade theology class at Lourdes Central Catholic produced the video. Our school does its best to make our classrooms more interactive with technology, but because we are a small parochial school, we are limited in our resources (many of the technology tools used in the video belong to our teachers who have generously invested in their students). The song is a parody of the Jonas Brothers’ song, “SOS.” SMG stands for “Save My Grade,” and the video attempts to depict the frustration that students (and teachers) can sometimes have with more traditional methods, and also how technology can be used to enhance student achievement.
