Preschool children and their families went to Mr. Fox's 6th Grade Band Class for a field experience within Phase II of our Music Project. Before the visit, my children chose a band instrument of interest. Children had sketched their instrument and could name which group from which it belonged (brass, woodwinds, or percussion). Mr. Fox's class performed for us, and he answered some of my questions about his life and music. Later, my students had prepared questions that they dictated to me.
