Longfellow Middle School's Modern Music Program opened the BUSD's Annual Performing Arts Festival in May of 2009. In this never before seen video you can enjoy the extraordinary performance of these sixth through eight graders. Modern Music teacher Pete Greuland also teaches math and science. In a classroom surrounded with racks of guitars, drums and a small stage (all professionally built and mounted by Mr. Greuland), all of his classes are exciting. At Berkeley High School, where performance is exceptional, people always ask; where do these kids come from? That’s easy.
