This video shows some of the concepts that can be facilitated to teach goal setting while utilising a climbing wall as the teaching medium.
Have students attempt a traverse of a climbing wall. Monitor where they fall off. Now challenge them to identify their weaknesses, and to work on these until they become strengths. With this perseverance and persistence will come improved performance, and they should get further along the wall. Just like life!
