This lesson is a review of the seven continents and it\\\\\\\'s purpose is to connect students prior knowledge about geography to their current connection with the world outside of their immediate community. I believe that by highlighting our connection to the rest of the world, our students will be more invested in learning about other cultures.


This overall apprenticeship can be divided into three separate components: fine arts, world cultures/geography, and folk tales/literature. The main goal of this project is to present a musical theater production about Cinderella as an international story that can connect and unite all seven of the continents. During this ten week course we will compare and contrast Cinderella stories from around the world.
